American Foods Group Builds a Beef Facility in Missouri

American Foods Group recently broke ground on a beef processing facility in Warren County, Missouri. The 775,000-sq.-ft. greenfield facility will serve as a harvest and processing facility and is expected to have a capacity of nearly 2,400 cattle per day.

It will be American Foods Group’s sixth harvest facility in the U.S. and will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication, rendering, grinds, further processing, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks. 

Price was not disclosed. The facility is expected to employ 1,300. Gray provided the engineering, design and construction.
