The parent company of CTI Foods LLC has announced that Tim LaLonde will succeed Terry O’Brien as CEO of Chef Holdings Inc., which went into effect Sept. 30, 2024. O’Brien, who has left the company to become CEO of foodservice supply company TriMark USA, remains on CTI Foods’ board of directors, the release noted.
LaLonde joined CTI in July 2023, when he was named chief financial officer. He had previously served in the same role at CP Foods North America, where he also had led the frozen appetizer business through a tripling of EBITDA in three year. LaLonde also boast prior CFO roles with WePackItAll and Hyde & Hyde/Latitude 36 Foods.
In addition to LaLonde’s move, CTI Foods also has named Corey Arrick to be its president. Arrick joined CTI as its COO, coming from Thomas Foods USA, in June 2023. He had also been vice president of Operations at CP Foods North America, and brings industry experience from prior time serving Nestle, Campbell Soup and Godiva.
CTI is a Southlake, Texas-based, culinary-driven custom food solutions provider for foodservice, retail, industrial and co-manufacturing businesses. The company has six processing plants pumping out raw, pre-cooked and fully cooked proteins, dry sausage, soups, sauces and dehydrated beans, located in Idaho, Iowa, California, Kentucky and Texas.
