3-A Sanitary Standards Inc. (3-A SSI) invites all interested persons who are affected by 3-A Sanitary Standards and Accepted Practices to participate in the 3-A SSI Working Groups as part of a five-year revision project for "ANSI/3-A 00-01-2018, 3-A Sanitary Standard for General Requirements."
This 3-A sanitary standard defines the general requirements for sanitary (hygienic) equipment intended for processing milk, milk products, foods, food ingredients, beverages or other edible materials. This general standard serves as the baseline and normative reference for more than 30 individual equipment standards and accepted practices.
Following final drafting by the Working Group and recommendation of the 3-A SSI Steering Committee, the proposed draft will be available for consideration. An announcement of applications to participate in the ANSI Consensus Body for this activity will be made at a later date.
