Saputo Inc. Announces CEO Transition

Carl Colizza will take over as president and CEO from Lino A. Saputo, who will move into the role of executive chair of the board, effective August 2024.

Global dairy processor Saputo Inc. has announced that Lino A. Saputo, chair of the board, president and CEO, will transition to executive chair of the board, effective Aug. 9, 2024, and Carl Colizza will become president and CEO.

Colizza is currently Saputo’s president and COO for North America and joined the company in 1998. He has held leadership roles in engineering, operations, business development and strategy, and had been president and COO, Dairy Division (Canada) prior to his appointment to his current role in 2019.

Colizza will continue to execute the functions of his current title for the time being, the announcement noted, and Anthony Fata will continue to serve as independent lead director.
