Egglife Foods Announces First Expansion Beyond U.S. Borders
Chicago-based Egglife Foods Inc., makers of egglife egg white wraps, has announced its first-ever international expansion of its product line, with the egg white wraps product having been introduced into Canada.
Egglife’s egg white wraps debuted as the company’s first product in 2019, transforming egg whites into a tortilla-style wrap that is low-carb, protein-rich, and free of sugar, gluten and grains. The product has since expanded to more than 14,000 retail locations in the U.S. and Canada, the company noted.
Egglife original egg white wraps, as well as the Everything Bagel egg white wraps are available in 130 Metro stores in Ontario, Canada, with the Garden Salsa variety also available at select locations. Egglife expects to continue its Canadian retail expansion in the coming months, reaching other stores and provinces.
Egglife’s wraps are produced at the company’s Wolcott, Ind., processing plant.
