Taylor Farms to Become Stakeholder in Spanish Produce Company Foodiverse

Partnership between the two fresh food processors expected to boost innovation efforts in sustainability, quality and food safety arenas.

Taylor Farms, a North American producer of salads and healthy fresh foods, has reached an agreement to become a significant shareholder in Spanish fresh food producer Foodiverse through a cash capital increase, according to a release from Foodiverse.

Taylor Farms, which has production facilities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and Foodiverse expect to gain synergies through the exchange of best practices in sustainability, quality, innovation and food safety, according to the release. The companies expect to drive growth through shared development and innovation efforts.

The current management team of Foodiverse will remain in place, and the partnership is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to authorization by the National Commission of Markets and Competition.
