Dole Packaged Foods Shuffles Vice President Appointments in Response to Retirements
Dole Packaged Foods LLC, makers of packaged shelf stable fruit, frozen fruit, dried fruit and juices, has appointed a new executive and expanded the role of another in response to the retirements of two members of the executive team.
Mike Secor will be vice president of Marketing, Americas, and Stacy Smoot will have her executive sales role elevated to vice president, Retail & Foodservice Sales. These two vice presidents succeed previous vice president of Marketing, Nora Witt, and vice president of Foodservice, Stuart McAllister, who announced their retirements in 2024.
Secor brings proven marketing experience with such large CPG and foodservice companies such as Bonduelle Fresh Americas, Ruiz Foods and General Mills to his new position. He will be instrumental in innovating, refining and executing Dole’s U.S. marketing strategies moving forward.
Smoot joined Dole in 2022 and has designed and implemented strategic programs in support of retail customer growth. She will now oversee foodservice sales and develop cross-channel efficiencies, the company’s release noted. Smoot has more than 27 years of senior-level CPG sales experience, having previously worked for Bimbo Bakeries, Arytza and Maple Leaf Foods.
