Welch’s Opens New Waltham, Massachusetts, Headquarters
Fruit-based foods and beverage company Welch’s officially opened its new corporate headquarters in Waltham, Mass., this week, a move that the company called “a pivotal moment in the company’s 150-year history” in its release announcing the event.
Welch’s hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the officers on June 17. The 60,000-sq.-ft. facility features new, modern laboratory space, open collaboration spaces and modern amenities throughout. The company’s 200 corporate employees will transition to the new Waltham headquarters from the former offices in nearby Concord, Mass.
Welch’s produces juices, fruit snacks, spreads, jams and jellies from fruits grown by the 650 family farms that make up its agricultural cooperative, sold under the Welch’s brand.
