Yankee Stadium Nut Processor to Lease 150k-Sq.-Ft. Former Stuffed Puffs Lehigh Valley Facility
Bazzini, which has provided peanuts to the MLB’s Yankees since 1923, will lease the 150,000-sq.-ft. building in Lehigh Valley, Pa., to increase operations.
Nuts, fruit and chocolate confections manufacturer Bazzini — a company that has provided peanuts to Yankee Stadium for more than 100 years — is expanding its manufacturing footprint with the new lease of a 150,000-sq.-ft. processing facility in Lehigh Valley, Pa., according to a release shared with Food Processing.
The company moved its headquarters to Lehigh Valley in 2011, having been founded and operated out of New York City in 1886. Its deal with Major League Baseball’s Yankees started in 1923.
Bazzini will take up residence in one of three buildings in the Lehigh Valley Flex Center industrial park, near major transportation networks, a skilled workforce and supportive business ecosystem, the release noted. The facility was formerly used by Stuffed Puffs, which was acquired in the fall of 2024 and the plant shut down at that point.
Bazzini produces nut products as well as a variety of chocolates, crunches and better-for-you bars for a nationwide consumer base.
