We've written a lot about GMOs, but what really matters is what consumers think of them -- and that's the subject of Food Processing's June cover story. We've partnered with Hartman Group for exclusive use of data from their consumer survey...which shows awareness of GMOs is virtually universal (97 percent of consumers), but understanding of the science behind them is quite low. Consumers largely distrust GMOs and almost half seek to avoid them. See all the data in our cover story.
