Doritos, a brand of Frito-Lay, itself a wholly owned subsidiary of PepsiCo, has been making Super Bowl appearances for 23 years. This year, the brand will showcase its latest innovation: Doritos Dinamita. Think of the famous chip’s triangular shape, but now rolled into a stick shape for extra crunch.
Chile Limón is the original Dinamita variety. It has a tangy, citrusy heat. Four new spice-packed snacks are joining it: Flamin Hot Queso, Hot Honey Mustard, Smoky Chile Queso and Tangy Fiery Lime. All five flavors of Doritos Dinamita can be found on store shelves at retailers nationwide for $2.49 for a 4 -oz bag and $5.99 for a 10.75-oz bag.
“Doritos has a long history of delivering fan-favorite Super Bowl commercials, but new pack-a-punch flavors, unique shapes and some spicy stars will make Dinamita’s Super Bowl commercial a campaign that will get snackers across the country buzzing like never before,” says Tina Mahal, senior vice president of marketing at PepsiCo Foods North America.
