Holiday Cookie Exclusive

Campbell Soup Company

Pepperidge Farm, a brand of Campbell’s Co., the new name for the iconic soup-centric company, is introducing a new take on timeless taste this holiday season by partnering with fashion designer Rachel Antonoff to introduce the limited-edition Pepperidge Farm x Rachel Antonoff Holiday Cookie Jar Collection.

Available in four unique designs inspired by the vintage toile de jouy pattern that is trending in fashion and home, each ceramic cookie jar is drawn from the distinctive Pepperidge Farm holiday cookie it houses. Chessmen comes in gold, suggestive of the buttery flavored cookie; Milano Peppermint comes in classic red candy cane; Peppermint Cocoa comes in evergreen; and Linzer come in winter blue with nods to the snowflake cutouts of Linzer cookies.

“Pepperidge Farm holiday cookies are more than just treats. They’re edible memories,” said Antonoff. “With these jars, I wanted to capture that holiday magic and give these cookies a home as special, and as fancy, as they are.”

Favorite Candies with a Twist

The Hershey Company

Hershey Co. is spreading cheer with new takes on favorite sweet treats. For the first time, the Kit Kat brand is shaking up the season with its iconic crispy wafers in festive, snack-sized Santa shapes. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups brand now comes in a sugar cookie variety. Sugar cookie pieces are stuffed within the creamy peanut butter inside each cup. The new flavor comes in regular, king and miniature sizes.

Twizzlers is twisting things up, too, with cherry-flavored trees in a shareable stand-up pouch and Twizzlers Merry Berry Punch Twists King Size. There also are two new gift boxes—Cadbury Milk Chocolate Mini Snowballs and Hershey’s Kisses Cookies ‘N’ Crème Snowman—plus new Jolly Rancher Gummies Original and Sour Flavors Storybooks

Protein Bar Gets Festive

Barebells Functional Foods™ | Buy Protein Bars Online

Fitness enthusiasts looking for some holiday merriment can turn to Barebells’ limited-edition seasonally flavored protein bar. The new peppermint bark bar offers a smooth, peppermint candy-flavored filling, a silky and sweet white chocolate coating and a sprinkle of crunchy pepperminty topping. One 55g bar contains 210 calories, 20g of protein and no added sugar. The first ingredient is a milk protein blend of calcium caseinate, whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. Maltitol, polydextrose and sucralose provide sweetness without added sugars. A box of 12 bars sells for $28.99.

Last year, the company offered a holiday calendar to count down the days to Christmas starting on Dec. 1. Hidden behind each of the 24 doors was an individually wrapped bar in one of 11 different flavors from the company’s soft bars, original bars and plant-based collections.

“Peppermint Bark is here to add a winter twist to your cravings [this year]. Perfectly suited for any frosty adventure, or as a minty sweet before or after a workout,” says Caitlyn Johnston, marketing activation manager for Barebells in the U.S. “This bar is for all the peppermint bark lovers out there.”

12 Days of Ice Cream

twelve days of ice cream – Double Rainbow Ice Cream

Double Rainbow Ice Cream is offering the 12 Days of Ice Cream holiday countdown gift box. Named after the classic English Christmas carol, the gift box features 12 5-oz cups of ice cream in six limited-edition festive “surprise” flavors. The product is sold direct to consumers and is shipped frozen on dry ice for $134.99, with one- or two-day delivery within the continental U.S.

The snow globe-inspired packaging adds an extra layer of excitement to this interactive gift experience and includes hints of the surprise flavors inside. Founded in 1976 in the heart of San Francisco, Double Rainbow Ice Cream has built a legacy of crafting premium, small-batch ice cream using milk from California’s family-owned dairy farms, along with other local ingredients.

Sweeten the Season with Color

McCormick & Company, Inc.

The McCormick brand is riding the newstalgia trend, which, as the name suggests, refers to nostalgic items with a new twist. Newstalgia is more than making everything old new again. It’s about taking products from a few decades ago that brought joy to consumers, and bringing them back with 21st century appeal.

Colored sugars were once big around the winter holidays. Years ago,  they were just that, colored sugars. This year, McCormick is offering six varieties of Holiday Finishing Sugars in festive flavors. Some of those flavors are classic favorites, such as Candy Cane, English Toffee, Gingerbread Spice and Hot Cocoa. Salted Caramel and White Frosting are more 21st century.

“When we think about the holidays, we remember special moments from year’s past: cookie and ornament exchanges, scents and smells of family-favorite dishes, and warm beverages on cold nights,” says Giovanna DiLegge, vice president marketing-North America consumer at McCormick. “The new Holiday Finishing Sugars bring a sense of the season with a flavorful, decorative touch to baked goods or beverages. Get the ‘ooh’s’ and ‘aah’s’ out of family gatherings with this new, limited-edition collection.”

Winter-Edition Energy Drink

energydrink-us.redbull.com

Red Bull wants in on the holidays and has rolled out Winter Edition Iced Vanilla Berry, a new seasonal offering that is available with and without sugar. The beverage was designed to add a refreshing twist to cold-weather adventures, everything from hitting the slopes to powering through the holiday hustle. It comes in glacier blue-colored 8.4- and 12-fl-oz. cans.

Red Bull Energy Drink is available in more than 170 countries, with over 12 billion cans consumed this past year. An 8.4-fl-o.z can contains 80mg of caffeine, comparable to the caffeine content found in a home-brewed cup of coffee.

This past summer, the company offered a summer-edition flavor: Curuba Elderflower. Curuba is a tropical fruit with hints of banana and passion fruit. This was the first time it was featured in an energy beverage. The inclusion of elderflower is a nod to the trend of adding botanicals to beverages and capitalizing on their healthful halo.
