Pancakes and waffles have become a premium and portable morning meal thanks to recent innovations from Belgian Boys. Just in time for warmer weather, the company is rolling out Love Bites and Spring Bites Heart-Shaped Pancakes exclusive to select Target locations for a limited time. They are ready in one minute in the microwave.

Late last year, the company introduced the ready-to-eat, no-prep required Breakfast All Day Box and microwavable Pancakes & Go Cups, marking the brand’s first foray into the grab-and-go category. Those products are exclusive to Walmart stores nationwide. Each box contains four mini Belgian waffles paired with Babybel cheese and dried cranberries or pure maple syrup and dried cranberries. The cups come in maple butter, Belgian chocolate chip butter and sprinkles butter flavors. Both sell for $4.98.

More Cheese Spreads, Same Price

Lactalis USA is rolling out a new look, size and variety of Rondelé By President. The whipped, creamy, spreadable cheese has grown from a 6.5-oz. cup to an 8-oz. cup with no paper sleeve. The resealable package now has 23% more to share per container but at the same familiar price point. Rondelé‘s bold new look packs a punch, with a modern design that immediately draws the eye to improve on-shelf visibility.

As part of the rollout, Rondelé is also debuting a new variety: Mango Habanero. Like other Rondelé spreads, it is made with fresh milk and cream. Lactalis USA is also bringing President Leerdammer to the U.S. This specialty cheese was created in Holland in 1974. It combines the best of two beloved tastes: the nuttiness of Swiss cheese and the creaminess of Gouda. Leerdammer comes in 7-oz. wedges in convenient packaging that is re-closeable.

Everything Bagel Mac and Cheese

Nearly half of Americans customize their mac and cheese by adding extra seasonings and ingredients, which is known as “mac hacks.” Kraft-Heinz Co. now offers what it believes to be the ultimate hack in its new limited-edition Kraft Mac & Cheese Everything Bagel flavor. It was the winning submission from the brand’s recent “Fan Flavorites” program and is available exclusively at Walmart.com while supplies last.

The launch underscores a new, flavor-focused innovation strategy the company is piloting over the coming year. The new concept came to fruition with the brand knowing that more than 50 new flavored mac and cheese products have hit shelves since 2019, yet there has never been an Everything Bagel flavor.

“As a consumer-obsessed brand, our goal is to introduce new products that deliver on what our fans are craving,” says Sara Roashan, associate director of innovation for Kraft Mac & Cheese. “Last year, we launched a contest to give fans a forum to share what flavors they would want to see from us. After receiving hundreds of requests for an everything bagel flavor, we’re thrilled to officially introduce it to the world.”

Kids Get Their Own Hummus
