Turn Cereal Milk Spooky Orange

Post Consumer Brands LLC teamed up with Mondelēz International Inc. to produce Oreo Puffs Cereal. This unique Oreo cereal combines crunchy, chocolatey cereal puffs made with real Oreo cookie wafers and sweet marshmallows. For Halloween, there’s a variety that mysteriously changes the white milk in the bowl to a festive orange color. Both cereals are available in two sizes: 10- and 16.5-oz. boxes.

Back by popular demand, Post Halloween Fruity Pebbles features the same fruity taste and crispy texture of original Pebbles cereal. This limited-edition variety includes a mixture of orange and purple flakes to capture the spirit of the spooktacular season. It comes in 10- and 18.5-oz. packages.
The company also added Oreo Puffs cereal to its single-serve cup format. The 1-oz. cups are sold in packs of 12. Last, the company’s classic Grape-Nuts cereal is debuting updated packaging that aims to modernize the brand’s visual identity while staying true to its roots. While the product itself remains unchanged, the refreshed design brings a bold, clean look to shelves just in time for fall.

Festive Cookies for a Scavenger Hunt

Keebler is bringing Halloween magic to life with new Limited Edition Spookie Fudge Stripes cookies, which are chocolatey vanilla-flavored cookies with orange stripes and festive designs.

To celebrate the launch, Keebler partnered with zoos across the country for the Find the Stripes Zoo Scavenger Hunt. The interactive experience begins with a scan of a QR code and prompts families to find striped animals and log their discoveries for a chance to win an annual zoo membership and an exclusive behind-the-scenes animal experience. Plus, families can earn $5 in “Zoo Cash” to use toward their visit with proof of purchase of Spookie Fudge Stripes.

The scavenger hunt experience started in August and ends on Halloween. The four partnering zoos are Phoenix Zoo, Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium, Nashville Zoo at Grassmere and Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

It’s Trick or Treat Time

Hershey Company has collaborated with a number of iconic characters to delight trick-or-treaters at every doorstep. On the nostalgic side, the Peanuts gang, with the “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” slogan, now adorns Reese’s Pumpkins and Reese’s Miniatures. From the world of Harry Potter, Hershey’s Cookies ’n’ Crème Harry Potter Magical Friends Collection features favorite wizarding world characters, including Hedwig, Dobby, Buckbeak and Fawkes. There’s a new spooky shape from the Kit Kat brand that resembles Count Dracula.

For fall enthusiasts, Hershey’s introduces its first fall harvest flavor in six years: Nuggets Pumpkin Spice Latte. There are also now shareable packages of Reese’s Mini Pumpkins Unwrapped, Twizzlers Ghosts and Jolly Rancher Gummies Trickies. The latter are chewy fruit bites that come in different colors that don’t always match the flavor, playing tricks on the taste buds.

“Hershey continues to be at the forefront of Halloween festivities, with iconic brands that have become seasonal staples for our consumers to look forward to year after year,” says Katie DeCapria, senior manager-halloween.

Freaky Fanta

Fanta, a brand of Coca-Cola Company, came together with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse this Halloween to feature horror icons on Fanta soda cans. The partnership features Chucky on a new seasonal flavor: punch. Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is on orange and orange zero sugar; The Grabber from Black Phone 2 is on strawberry; M3gan is on grape; and Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise is on pineapple.

Consumers can get more from the characters by scanning the QR code on the side of cans to access exclusive content and experiences. The cans can be found from September to October, or until supplies sell out, anywhere in the world Fanta is sold.

Baking Up Devilish Dessert

Hometown Food Company is bringing frightful fun to kitchens this Halloween season with the launch of the Pillsbury Funfetti Spiderweb Swirl Fudge Brownie Mix. Each 18.4 oz-box bakes up one pan of chocolate fudge brownies that are swirled with fluffy marshmallow for some spirited magic. All that is required is eggs, oil and water. The suggested retail price is $3.29.

The Pillsbury Funfetti brand has been very active with seasonal offerings. For the 2024-2025 winter season, there was Melted Snowman Blue & White Vanilla Swirl Cake Mix and Melted Snowman Whipped Blue Vanilla Frosting with Sprinkles. The company also quickly responded to the viral sprinkle cake trend with Funfetti Celebrations Cake Mix, a budget-friendly, foolproof way to create the same eye-catching, sprinkle-loaded masterpiece in the home kitchen. The mix includes sprinkles that get baked right into the batter plus a whole bonus pack of sprinkles — including stars, pearls, rainbow and sequin sprinkles — to coat the outside.

Philanthropic Halloween Calendar

Ferrero’s 31 Days of Halloween Countdown Calendar is back for its sixth year, supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and now featuring a design evocative of a Halloween storybook. It serves as both a treat countdown and seasonal decor.

Each day throughout October, families can unlock a surprise confection from Ferrero’s portfolio of brands, including Butterfinger, Crunch, Baby Ruth, 100 Grand, Kinder Bueno, Kinder Joy, Kinder Chocolate, Tic Tac, Nutella, Keebler, Mother’s Cookies and Fannie May. Limited quantities of the calendar were sold online for a donation of $31 or more, with 100% of donations benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

In addition to fundraising efforts, Ferrero will distribute treats and confections directly to pediatric patients and their families at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals near company facilities, bringing Halloween joy to those who need it most.
