Good Food Awards Seeking Entries This Month Only

June 1, 2023
Honoring American crafters raising the bar in tasty, authentic and responsible food and drink.

The Good Food Foundation today (June 1) opened a monthlong, nationwide call for entries for its annual Good Food Awards competition in 18 categories: beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cider, coffee, confections, elixirs, drinks, grains, honey, fish, oils, pantry, pickles, preserves, spirits and snacks.

To enter, crafters fill out a 10-minute entry form available here (and at goodfoodfdn.org) by June 30. The $105 entry fee covers the cost of processing, storing, sorting and transporting products to the annual blind tasting, where industry professionals and category experts will identify this year’s top scorers. Judge feedback is also available for a $15 fee.

The general criteria are that the product be tasty, authentic and responsible.

The Good Food Foundation is a 501 (c) 3, in collaboration with a community of food crafters, grocers, chefs, food writers, activists and passionate food-lovers. The presenting sponsor is the Good Food Merchants Collaborative, comprised of the country’s top independently owned retailers, which are committed to supporting craft foods. Last year there were 237 winners.
