Hill Beverage and Snoop Dogg Launch (Minimally) THC-Infused Drinks

The amount of Delta-9 THC is under the national legal limit – and apparently won’t get you high.
Jan. 2, 2024

Hill Beverage Co. in collaboration with Snoop Dogg and his Death Row Records has launched a line of (minimally) THC-containing carbonated beverages. But anyone thinking these drinks will get them high will be disappointed.

All of the Do It Fluid drinks contain CBD and some contain a touch of Delta-9 THC – the latter of which is an intoxicating component of the marijuana plant. But at 3mg of THC per 8-oz. can, the amount is far under the limit set by the 2018 Farm Bill and apparently not enough to get a buzz on. That’s despite marketing that promises “experience the high life.”

The CBD content (usually 25mg) is more promoted than the THC. The drinks have “all-natural, high-quality ingredients to redefine your drinking experience, day or night.” The THC-containing ones, branded under Death Row Records, come in Blood Orange, Blue Razz, Cherry Limeaid and Peaches 'n Honies. They’re $5.99 for each can, and that doesn’t include shipping – which apparently is available to all 50 states.
