Sweet Treats for the Holidays
’Tis the season to snack. Mars is ringing in the holidays with M&M’s Winter Blend, a mix of M&M’s milk chocolate in white and icy-blue candy shells. Other new items include Twix Snowmen, which feature a crunchy cookie layered with creamy caramel and milk chocolate, and Life Savers Gummies Holiday Shapes, which include stockings, snowmen and Santa hats.
Returning classics that signal it’s time to kick off the holidays include the M&M’s Holiday Blend of red and green chocolate candies in peanut, peanut butter or milk chocolate varieties; Snickers Trees that provide layers of caramel, smooth nougat, roasted peanuts and milk chocolate tree shapes; M&M’s Toasty Holiday Peanut made with roasted peanuts infused with cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar and caramel; and Skittles Original Candy Holiday Cane with the timeless fruit chews in strawberry, orange, grape, lemon and green apple flavors.
Hassle-Free Holiday Dinner
Just in time for the holidays, Kevin’s Natural Foods introduces heat-and-serve Turkey Breast & Gravy with Cranberry Sauce. Like all of its fully cooked refrigerated meals, which are cooked using sous vide technology, this new seasonal offering is made only with clean ingredients and is gluten free, soy free, made with meat raised without antibiotics and made without refined sugars.
Sous vide is a French term for “under vacuum,” an innovative cooking technique mastered in the early 1970s. Food is vacuum sealed in a pouch, slow cooked in water at low temperatures until fully cooked and then flash frozen or refrigerated. This process allows the meat to retain its nutritional value and keep its flavor.
Kevin’s new product is a no-stress holiday hero that is ready to serve in just 10 minutes. It joins Kevin’s existing seasonal lineup of Turkey Breast & Gravy, Turkey Gravy and Holiday Mashed Sweet Potatoes.
Clean-label Countdown to Christmas
YumEarth, a brand known for its allergy-friendly treats made from simple, organic ingredients, is spreading holiday cheer with the launch of its Advent Calendar, alongside festive new seasonal offerings and returning fan favorites.
Guided by its mission to make life a little sweeter, simpler and filled with joy, the company reimagines classic candies with ingredients families can feel good about. The new Advent Calendar features whimsical “12 Days of Christmas” illustrations and daily candy surprises. The calendar has a suggested retail price of $23.99.
Also new are a 2-oz. chocolate snowman made with Fair Trade Certified cocoa; Peppermint Puffs, which are a soft, refreshing twist on the holiday classic and individually wrapped for easy sharing; and a No-Bake Cake Pops Kit. The latter comes with a cake mix to make 18 cake pops. For decorating, there’s a vanilla frosting mix, chocolate coating, pop sticks and peppermint lollipops, which when crushed make for the perfect sprinkles.
Better Than Scratch Cookies
There’s a new cookie mix in the baking aisle that is raising the bar and redefining what it means to “deliver a scratch-made taste in a fraction of the time.” My Better Batch, a fast-growing clean-label cookie mix that tastes like homemade, is launching an exclusive Holiday Cookie Collection at Target stores nationwide and on Target.com for $6.99 per package.
The Holiday Cheer mix makes cookies loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and festive sprinkles free from artificial flavors or colors. The Chocolate Peppermint mix bakes up into rich, fudgy chocolate cookies bursting with mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and hints of peppermint. Like every flavor from My Better Batch, each mix is non-GMO Project Verified and made with premium, recognizable ingredients, giving families the nostalgic taste of homemade cookies with a modern, clean-label twist.
Gingerbread Gets Caramelized
Werther’s Original, a brand of Storck USA LP, debuted limited-edition Gingerbread Flavored Soft Caramels, which combine the classic taste of gingerbread with Werther’s Original signature creamy caramel. The individually wrapped chewy bite-sized pieces come in 8.57-oz. bags adorned with a whimsical gingerbread man icon. Five pieces contain 140 calories.
Available nationwide, the new flavor rolled out alongside the return of Werther’s Original limited-edition Cookie Butter Crème, which is a soft and creamy caramel outside with speculoos flavored cookie butter crème on the inside.

Let it Snow Butter
California Dairies Inc. is offering new limited-edition Challenge Snowflake Butter this holiday season. Each delicately molded snowflake is made from rich and creamy Challenge Salted Butter, using 100% rBST-free milk from California cows.
The butter is packaged in a rigid, food-grade plastic insert that preserves its intricate design. Both the insert and outer cardboard sleeve are 100% recyclable, reflecting Challenge’s commitment to sustainability. The 4-oz. product carries a suggested retail price of $4.99.
Earlier this year, the farmer-owned butter brand introduced a new cube-shaped butter format, designed for easy measuring and less-mess cooking. Each cube is individually wrapped and pre-portioned into four tablespoons, offering precision, convenience and a cleaner prep experience for today’s busy home cooks.
