Pick Heaters offers pilot-scale and production-scale versions of its 3A Sanitary Heater. These heaters meet FDA and USDA requirements.

The Pick Sanitary Heater injects steam directly into food products, achieving instant transfer of energy.  This compact system heats, cooks or sterilizes dairy products, starches, purees, juices, sauces and other water miscible products on a continuous straight-through basis.  It can process slurries including bite-size pieces without damage to product texture or consistency.  Uniform heat treatment improves product quality and eliminates burn-on and costly maintenance.  It can also be used to heat CIP solutions and inject nitrogen into mayonnaise, edible oils and similar products for improved shelf life.

The Pick Sanitary Heating Systems come fully assembled and frame mounted, ready for operation.  Made of 316 stainless steel, the Pick Sanitary System features clamp-style fittings for easy disassembly and cleaning.  Systems are available in 10 standard sizes for liquid flow rates up to 5,000 gpm, and steam flow rates up to 10,000 lb/hr.
