Hostess Brands has named as its new CFO an executive hired from Cardinal Health.
Travis Leonard will join Hostess as CFO effective May 11. He will replace interim CFO Mike Gernigin, who will take the title of chief accounting officer, reporting to Leonard.
Leonard had been CFO and senior vice president of the medical segment of Cardinal Health. He also held financial roles at Cargill and at Kraft Foods.
“Hostess Brands is a strong company with an agile and innovative culture, and I am excited to be part of its ongoing success story,” Leonard said in a statement. “There are significant growth opportunities ahead and I look forward to delivering top-tier performance and results for our employees, customers and shareholders.”
