Hostess Brands has hired a former Tyson Foods executive to serve in the new position of chief growth officer.
Dan O’Leary will oversee the Hostess and Voortman brands, and will oversee the company’s marketing, R&D and strategy organizations. O’Leary most recently worked as group general manager of Tyson’s prepared retail segment, and before that, at Mizkan America and Kraft Foods.
In addition to general management of all brands, O’Leary will oversee the Hostess marketing organization and play a part in creating the company’s merger and acquisition strategy.
“With more than twenty years in the consumer packaged goods industry and a proven track record growing a diverse host of both iconic and emerging brands, Dan is a terrific addition to the Hostess leadership team and we are thrilled to have him join,” Hostess CEO Andy Callahan said in a statement.
