PepsiCo has announced several leadership changes across both its food and beverage divisions in North America.
The new president of PepsiCo Foods Canada will be Rachel Ferdinando, the current chief marketing officer for Frito-Lay U.S. as of July 1. Ferdinando joined PepsiCo five years ago, after holding positions at Kimberly Clark Corp. and GlaxoSmithKline.
Ferdinando will replace Cara Keating, who will move on to become the chief customer officer of Frito-Lay North America. Keating joined PepsiCo in 2004, holding positions in customer development in Canada.
Mike Del Pozzo, the current chief customer officer of Frito-Lay U.S., will be the new president and general manager of the Gatorade Performance Portfolio, which also includes Propel, Muscle Milk, Evolve and other products. Del Pozzo is a 20-year PepsiCo veteran who has held positions with PepsiCo’s beverage, Frito-Lay and Quaker Foods units.
Bett O’Brien, now general manager and senior VP of Gatorade Performance Portfolio, will become chief marketing officer of Frito-Lay U.S. Under his leadership, Muscle Milk and Evolve were added to the portfolio.
