Post Holdings will spend up to $110 million on an expansion of its breakfast cereal processing plant in Sparks, Nev.
Planning and implementation of the expansion will begin immediately, and is scheduled to be completed in 2025, with some additional capacity becoming available in late 2014. The project is expected to add 30 to 40 new jobs.
“Adding capacity in Sparks will help us balance our network geographically and provide us with greater flexibility to best serve our customers,” Nicolas Catoggio, president and CEO of Post Consumer Brands, said in a statement. “This expansion also provides us the opportunity to work in close partnership with the Sparks community, including local economic development authorities, to create new job growth.”
