Post Holdings has promoted Howard Friedman from president and CEO of Post Consumer Brands to EVP and chief operations officer.
Friedman joined Post in 2018. Prior to that, Friedman served as the executive vice president of the refrigerated meat and dairy business at Kraft Heinz, where he spent the majority of his career. In his newly created position, he will work with Post’s businesses on various aspects of long-term strategy, reporting directly to Robert Vitale, Post’s president and CEO.
Nico Catoggio was hired to replace Friedman in his previous position. Catoggio had been a senior partner with Boston Consulting Group, advising Post for several years.
The new roles are scheduled to be effective in September.
“I am looking forward to working with Howard in this new role as we seek to optimize our opportunities to leverage the scale of our businesses,” Vitale said in a statement.
