Nurtac Ziyal Afridi Made Permanent CEO of Godiva

After serving two months as interim CEO of chocolate brand Godiva, Nurtac Ziyal Afridi was named permanent CEO.

Afridi has been a Godiva board member as well as chief strategy and growth officer for Yildiz Holding, owner of the Godiva business. In fact, she was instrumental in Yildiz's acquisition of the luxury chocolatier in 2008 from Campbell Soup Co.

During her two months as interim CEO, she and her leadership team developed a three-year strategy to seize new opportunities through an omnichannel approach. Godiva was born in Belgium but now is headquartered in New York.
