PIM Brands, makers of snacks and confections including Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Slice Fruit Bars and Sun-Maid Chocolate Raisins among others, has expanded its leadership with three new appointments.
Jason Levine will join the company as its chief marketing officer, Fred Rodriguez will fill the newly created role of chief revenue officer, and Jason Tuber will be the company’s new senior vice president, Government Affairs. It is expected that these moves will continue to drive global growth, expand the company’s reach in North America and globally, and support PIM Brands’ public policy advocacy, the release noted.
Levine served most recently as chief marketing officer for Whisps Baked Snacks and helped pioneer the cheese crisp category. He spent nearly two decades at Mondelez — leading global marketing for brands such as Oreo — and at Sabra Dipping Co.
Rodriguez brings a background that features senior roles at places such as Mondelez, Kraft and most recently Godiva Chocolatier. He was head of sales and interim president for the Americas at Godiva. Rodriguez will oversee all trade channels in North America, including PIM Brands’ Canadian business, focusing on distribution expansion throughout the Americas.
Tuber joins PIM Brands after nearly 20 years working in the U.S. Senate, most recently service as chief of staff to Sen. Bob Menendez. He expects to leverage his Capitol Hill experience to help PIM Brands navigate public policy and government affairs as the leader of PIM’s Government Affairs, Public Policy and Political Action Committee in Washington, D.C.
