Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Mid America Pet Food has announced that Jeff Caswell will be its new CEO, and interim CEO Mark Schiller will transition to the company’s board of directors. Mid America manufactures Victor Super Premium Pet Food, Nature’s Logic, Eagle Mountain Pet Food and Wayne Feeds.
Caswell brings extensive consumer-packaged goods experience to the role, having most recently served as CEO and board member for Hispanic foods manufacturer Sabrosura Foods for the past three years. Prior to that, Caswell has worked for numerous consumer food brands with General Mills, Tyson Foods, Hillshire Brands, Conagra Brands and others.
Mid America said in the release that it has invested in its team as well as its processing facility in Mount Pleasant, and Caswell noted that the strong team and outstanding growth potential drew him to accept the role. He officially began as CEO on July 9, 2024.
