Mid America Pet Food has appointed Brandon McKay to be its chief financial officer and Dan Baker to be its chief supply chain officer.
Baker led Mid America’s supply chain on an interim basis over the past year and is being elevated to his new role after he drove significant change management across the supply chain, encompassing operations, quality, safety, customer service, performance tracking and procurement. He has brought 30 years of pet-food industry experience to the company, having worked previously for Mars Pet Nutrition and Red Collar Pet Foods.
McKay brings more than two decades experience in finance, accounting, information technology and accounts receivable leadership for consumer packaged goods brands such as Flagstone Foods and General Mills. He will lead Mid America’s finance team looking to drive sustainable growth for the company’s brands, including Victor Super Premium Pet Food and Nature’s Logic, among others.
Joining McKay’s finance team is Collin Rooney, who will become vice president of financial planning & analytics (FP&A) and data analytics, the company noted. Rooney has been with Mid America since 2022, having joined the company following stints at PetPeople and Abercrombie & Fitch.
