Beyond Meat Chicken Tenders to be Available in Stores in October

Beyond Meat announced September 27 that its plant-based breaded tenders will be available in grocery stores across the country starting in October.

Beyond Meat announced on September 27 that its plant-based breaded 'chicken' tenders would be available at grocery stores in October. Made from faba bean, the tenders have half the saturated fat of traditional nuggets.

The tenders were first introduced to restaurants this summer. The company says they were "overwhelmed with resounding demand" for an at-home version.

The tenders will be available in the freezer section at stores nationwide including Walmart, Jewel-Osco, Safeway NorCal, Harris Teeter, Giant Food and ShopRite.
