The Food Processing team is excited to announce its first annual Food Leaders Summit, taking place April 27-29, 2015, in Chicago.

The event, also known as "FLS," will take place at the Westin Chicago River North in Chicago and will focus on the consumer-led changes facing the food industry, innovation and product development, and the opportunities and challenges of Big Data in food production, marketing and logistics.

Dave Fusaro, Editor in Chief of Food Processing magazine remarked, "The food economy is changing. Food Processing is excited to partner with FLS to explore the approaching trends and changes occurring in the food industry."

"With 250 attendees and 35+ speakers, this is going to be a uniquely intimate, focused event that brings stakeholders together to share experience, connect with speakers, and network with other senior food industry leaders," says Jennifer Grinnell, Event Manager with Food Processing and FLS parent company, Putman Media.

The Food Leaders Summit Advisory Board is comprised of executives from many industry leaders including Cargill, ConAgra, Stonyfield Farm, H.J. Heinz Co., Frito Lay, Pressed Juicery and more.

Summit attendees will have their choice of three tracks: Product Development, Business & Marketing, and Emerging Technology.
