GEA Westfalia Separator Opens Service Center in Calif.

Northvale, N.J.-based GEA Westfalia Separator Inc., which supplies separating and clarifying equipment to processors of dairy products, wine, olive oil and other foods and beverages, this month opened a new service and repair facility in Patterson, Calif.

The location was selected to service the large number of processor installations in the western U.S. The company also operates a full service center in New Jersey.

The Patterson facility features a complete repair and service shop, a full parts inventory and a training center for Westfalia Separator machines. The shop also will serve as home base for the company’s western region sales force. The 24,000-sq.-ft. facility represents an investment of $5.5 million.

GEA Westfalia Separator is the North American subsidiary of GEA Westfalia Separator, Oelde, Germany.
