Mettler-Toledo CI-Vision has established the CI-Vision Vision Institute to help its customers optimize the benefits they receive from investing in CI-Vision machine vision systems. Trainers certified by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute provide both classroom and hands-on training in the basic technology, effective application and proper maintenance of CI-Vision machine vision inspection systems.

Courses are designed for students with varying levels of experience and skill, ranging from production line operators/users to specialists/tuners and experts/trainers. CVI also works closely with customers to design customized specialized training to meet their specific needs.

Training is conducted at the Mettler-Toledo CI-Vision facility in Aurora and each course generally last three days. Class size is usually 6-8 participants, which allows for maximum contact with the instructor and plenty of hands-on experience. Larger companies that may have multiple inspection setups and/or a large operator staff can arrange for on-site training at its own facility.
