New facility targeted to open in July 2010.
VersaCold’s new refrigerated storage and distribution center is in a premier Puget Sound location. Located less than one mile from all ocean carrier terminals, the new warehouse is less than two blocks from the I-5 Corridor next to Highway 509, offering easy access to both the Union Pacific switching yard and the municipal railroad, Tacoma Beltline.The new facility is 196,600 square feet and includes cooler; freezer and ice cream storage, refrigerated dock and office space; import/Export services and USDA/FDA/USDC/FSIS inspection services.
