Thanks to Armour, families will never have to miss breakfast again. Part of the John Morrell Food Group, Cincinnati, Ohio, a subsidiary of Smithfield Foods, Armour introduces BreakfastMakers, a six-variety line of ready-to-eat right-from-the-refrigerator breakfast foods.

"Breakfast just got easier," says Chuck Gitkin, vice president of marketing, innovation and R&D for John Morrell. "BreakfastMakers are a terrific way for busy moms and dads to ensure their families start their morning off right. They are portable and convenient, making anywhere a fit-for-breakfast place."

The line includes Bagel with Cream Cheese (with plain and strawberry-flavored cream cheese for dunking), Cinnamon Roll (with cream cheese icing for dunking), French Toast Sticks (with maple-flavored syrup for dunking), Ham Breakfast Croissant Sandwich (with American cheese and ham for assembly), Mini Pancakes (with maple-flavored syrup for dunking and a side of ham) and Sausage Breakfast Wraps (includes whole wheat tortillas, cooked sausage topping, shredded American cheese and salsa for assembly).

The product launch is supported by a public relations and marketing campaign, including special promotions, coupons and social media engagement. A single-serve pack contains 190-290 calories, depending on variety. Suggested retail price is 79-99 cents. Promotional introductory prices have been as low as 50 cents.
