Gerber Products Co., Florham Park, N.J., part of the Nestle family, is rolling out Gerber Graduates 2+ Kid Selects mix-and-match meal components that offer toddlers two years and older a range of protein, vegetable and grain options made just for them. The intent is to help children make nutritious choices and master self-feeding skills, including use of a fork and spoon.
The line includes six options: Brown Rice with Mixed Vegetables, Carrots & Green Beans, Dinosaur Shaped Pasta, Grilled Chicken Nuggets, Sweet Corn with Red Peppers and Turkey Meatballs.
For dessert or snack time, there's new Gerber Graduates 2+ Dippers, spoon-shaped biscuits made with 6 grams of whole grain per serving and a side of real fruit or fruit and yogurt dip. They're easy to pick up and perfect for scooping and dipping. Varieties are: Mixed Berry, Peach Banana Mango, and Strawberry Banana.
