Califia Farms kicks off summer with Califia Farms Horchatas in Classic Cinnamon and Vanilla Coconut varieties. The horchatas are made with Califia Farms Almondmilk, which is known for its great taste and creamy mouthfeel, and is combined with a rice milk and tigernut (chufa) milk blend for authenticity, flavor and texture. The Califia Farms Aguas Frescas line welcomes two new flavors — Pineapple Ginger and Mango Chili Lime — that join Kiwi Cactus Lemonade, Strawberry Basil and Watermelon Ginger Lime. All of the new items are exclusive to Whole Foods Market until July 1, and will be available at other U.S. retailers nationwide through September.
Both beverage concepts, best-known to Americans as cool, refreshing drinks traditionally served at Mexican restaurants, take strong cues from their Latin American roots, but ramp up the flavor sensations with premium versions of the classics. They come in the company’s signature curvy bottle, a chic, modern design reminiscent of a classic milk bottle. Available sizes are 10.5-oz. single-serve and 48-oz. multi-serve, family-size containers.
