Nestlé USA is getting creative in the frozen pizza category with a number of product rollouts.
New DiGiorno Crispy Pan Pizza is baked in its own pan fresh in the home oven. It is topped with edge-to-edge cheese for a crust that is crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and tender inside. Made with real cheese, a preservative-free crust and no artificial flavors, the four 12-inch by 8-inch panned varieties--Pepperoni, Four Cheese, Supreme and Three Meat–have a suggested retail price of $8.49.
The brand’s first gluten-free product is new DiGiorno Ultra Thin Crust Pizza, which is made using non-GMO ingredients and features a crispy and delicately thin crust. There’s Four Cheese (mozzarella, Parmesan, Asiago and Romano cheeses) and Sausage Supreme (Italian sausage, green and red bell peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese). The suggested retail price is $6.49.
New DiGiorno Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Pizzas feature a crust stuffed with cheese and Applewood smoked bacon. There are two varieties. Bacon Me Crazy is topped with Applewood smoked bacon and salami, and Aloha Bacon is topped with ham, applewood smoked bacon and pineapple. The suggested retail price is $8.49.
