For bearings in bakery, pasta and packaging equipment, Klüberfood NH1 74-401 is a synthetic, high-temperature NSF H1 food-grade grease that withstands continuous temps ranging from 320-356°F (160-180°C). With appropriate relubrication intervals, the grease can be employed up to 356°F (180°C) for short periods—saving maintenance time and lubricant costs by providing one grease to handle many applications.
Instead of using perfluoropolyether (PFPE), it uses an FDA-approved urea thickener. The result is outstanding performance previously reserved for non-H1 lubricants while providing food safety. Specific benefits include:
