General Mills invites Americans to slow down and savor Oui by Yoplait, a new thick, creamy offering inspired by a traditional French recipe, which until now was only available in France. Sold in a French-made 5-oz. glass pot, this unique yogurt is made with simple ingredients, such as whole milk, pure cane sugar and real pieces of fruit. It contains no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors and no colors from artificial sources. It’s an artisanal yogurt made by pouring ingredients into individual glass pots that set after eight hours, creating a unique texture. It is designed to be spoon cut slowly, not stirred, in order to preserve its thick, subtly sweet, fresh taste.

“We wanted to bring something special to our U.S. consumers, something we have been enjoying during visits with our French colleagues for many years, but hard to replicate in large quantities here in the U.S.,” says David Clark, president of U.S. yogurt.

Oui by Yoplait comes in black cherry, blueberry, coconut, lemon, peach, plain, strawberry and vanilla flavors. The suggested retail price is $1.49. Strawberry and vanilla also come in four-count packages at a suggested retail price of $4.78.
