Our just-completed 2025 Capital Spending Outlook finds 31 of the biggest U.S. and Canadian processors collectively budgeting 1.1% less this year than they actually spent last year. While that’s a tiny drop, we haven’t seen a budgeted decrease since our 2009 report – and that came in the midst of the 2008-2009 Great Recession. We’ll analyze what this barometer says about the manufacturing health of the food & beverage industry and also highlight some of the top projects underway and what processors are spending their capex dollars on
