Division President: Jim Clough, Schwan's Food Service Inc.

In August 2010, Jim Clough joined Marshall, Minn.-based The Schwan Food Co. as president of Schwan's Food Service Inc. The subsidiary markets and distributes frozen-food products brands such as Tony's, Freschetta and Big Daddy's pizza, Rising Sun sushi and Minh brands to public and private schools, universities, health-care facilities, convenience stores and chain restaurants through more than 1,800 active distributors.

With some 17,000 employees, Schwan's is a privately held, company with revenues of more than $3 billion in revenue in 2009. It manufactures and markets frozen foods through home-delivery, retail-grocery and foodservice channels. Major brands include Red Baron, Mrs. Smith's Edward's and Schwan's frozen foods.

Clough brings with him more than 25 years of sales, marketing, strategic planning and leadership experience within the food industry. He most recently served as president of Fresh Start Bakeries North America, responsible for sales and 18 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada. With a bachelor's in industrial management from the University of Akron and a master's from Baker University, he held leadership positions with Heinz North America, ConAgra Foods and Bunge Foods Group.
