Utz Brands has named Satyaki Lodh, a veteran of Snyder’s-Lance, as its new chief information officer.
Lodh has more than 30 years of experience in information technology. He was most recently CIO at Borden Dairy. Before that, he was vice president of enterprise applications at Snyder’s-Lance (now a unit of Campbell Soup Co.), where he oversaw the company’s direct store delivery route operations. He will report to Ajay Kataria, Utz’s executive vice president and chief financial officer.
“Satyaki is a fantastic addition to the Utz team. He has an impressive track record of successfully leading IT operations and delivering effective, leading-edge technology solutions that create business value. He has extensive knowledge of DSD operations, and I am confident that Satyaki and his team will execute a focused IT vision and strategy that will help drive profitable growth,” Kataria said in a statement.
Utz had a flurry of C-suite hires last year after going public in 2020, including Shane Chambers as executive vice president and chief growth officer, Mark Schreiber as EVP of sales and chief customer officer, and Cary Devore, who was promoted to COO last July. Kataria was hired to replace him in the CFO position.
