Winthrop, who has been at the company for 16 years, succeeds Dennis Vaughn, who is retiring after 22 years at the company.

Bob's Red Mill has named a new CEO, Trey Winthrop.

Winthrop has been with the employee-owned company based in Milwaukie, Ore, for 16 years and most recently has served as its CFO. Winthrop is taking over the role from Dennis Vaughn, who has been with the company for 22 years and served as the CEO for the last three.

Winthrop joined Bob’s Red Mill in March 2005 as director of corporate finance. He has held the position of CFO since 2015 and will remain in the role while a replacement is found, which the company is expecting to do in early 2022.

Robert Agnew, former senior vice president of sales, will serve as acting CEO and chairman of the board of directors until a new CFO is brought on board and Winthrop takes over the post.
