Impossible Foods Appoints Two New Officers to the C-Suite

The new additions to the leadership team include new Chief People Officer Leilani Gayles and Chief Financial Officer David Borecky

Impossible Foods has appointed two new members to its leadership team. HR veteran and former Chief People Officer for the San Francisco Giants Leilani Gayles will lead Impossible Foods in the role of Chief People Officer. David Borecky, currently serving as interim CFO, is being promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer.

As CPO, Gayles will oversee the human element of the company. From talent acquisition and leadership development to diversity, equity and inclusion programs, as CPO, Gayles will steward company’s commitment to creating a positive workplace experience.

According to the company, finance leader and interim CFO David Borecky has been promoted to the position of CFO. Borecky has led the accounting, tax, and financial operations of the organization for more than two years, during which time Impossible Foods secured a total of $700 million in new funding.

“Leilani and David are extraordinary leaders who share our vision of turning back the clock on climate change by transforming the global food system,” said Impossible Foods’ CEO and Founder Dr. Patrick O. Brown.
