Eat Beyond Names Michael Aucoin CEO

Aucoin, a CPG and food industry veteran, is replacing Patrick Morris, who has served as Eat Beyond's CEO since it was launched in Fall 2019.

Eat Beyond announced today it has appointed Michael Aucoin as its new CEO. Aucoin will be replacing Patrick Morris, who served as CEO since the company's inception in the Fall of 2019.

According to the announcement, Aucoin plans to take the plant-based food company in a new direction. Under Aucoin, Eat Beyond will be focusing more on technical innovation, research, and investments in capacity-building projects.

"We intend to compete in a wide cross-section of plant-protein verticals, as represented by our portfolio companies, with which we will work with closely to accelerate their success from an operational and value creation standpoint," said Aucoin. "Eat Beyond is committed to leading the future of food and becoming the most successful Canadian plant-based food business operating globally."
