Heeth Varnedoe Named Chief Transformation Officer for Flowers Foods

Heeth Varnedoe, senior vice president of DSD Regions/Sales, has been promoted to Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), a newly created role at the company, effective January 4, 2021. Flowers Foods, which produces Nature's Own, Dave's Killer Bread, Wonder, Tastykake, and other bakery foods, made the announcement on December 9.

According to the announcement, Varnedoe will oversee the implementation of key, cross-functional initiatives that advance Flowers' long-term strategic plans. His immediate attention will be focused on Flowers Foods' digital and enterprise resource planning initiative.

Varnedoe will report to Ryals McMullian, president and chief executive officer.
