Hormel Foods has announced the replacements for two top vice presidents who are due to retire soon.

Clint Walters will take the position of vice president of refrigerated foods. Walters, currently the manager of Hormel’s facility in Austin, Minn., joined Hormel in 1995. He replaces Donnie Temperly, who will retire in spring 2021.

John Forsythe will be vice president of grocery operations products. Currently serving as plant manager for Hormel Foods operations in Atlanta, Forsythe began his career with the company in 2000 as an industrial engineer. He will replace Tim Fritz, who also is retiring in spring 2021.

Walters’ current position will be filled by Kari Pollak, who will become the first woman to lead the Austin plant – where she began her Hormel career more than 20 years ago. Scott Clark, currently production manager at the Atlanta facility, will take Forsythe’s position there.
