Three Women in Food & Beverage Among the 2020 Influential Women in Manufacturing Honorees

May 5, 2020
Among the 20 women honored this year, two are engineers at General Mills, and one is the CEO of Zweigles.

The Influential Women in Manufacturing (IWIM) program announced its 2020 Honorees earlier this morning. Among the list, which can be found on the Influential Women in Manufacturing website, are three women representing the food and beverage industry:

  • Lisa Zasada, Global Reliability Engineering Director, General Mills
  • Christy Thompson, Principal Engineer, Global Engineering, General Mills
  • Julie Camardo, CEO, Zweigles, Inc.

The IWIM program was founded in 2017 to honor the women in manufacturing roles that help effect change in manufacturing and industrial production. The 2020 Influential Women in Manufacturing honorees will be profiled in a dedicated e-book to be released by Putman Media this summer. They will also be recognized during an event taking place at the end of September.
