Jones Soda, the craft soda known for cane sugar and personalized labels, has appointed Jamie Colbourne as interim CEO.
Colbourne will replace Jennifer Cue, who is stepping down after eight years to spend more time with her family, according to a statement from the company. Cue will remain on the Jones Soda board of directors.
Colbourne most recently served as CEO and board member for JGC Foods, a holding company that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of branded and co-packaged soups, sauces and entrees. He has also worked as chief operations officer for Charlie’s Produce, and has held executive positions and served on the board of directors for CPG brands including Litehouse Products, Tully’s Coffee, Haagen-Dazs and 7UP Canada.
“I look forward to leveraging my expertise in growing CPG and food distribution companies as we implement the necessary strategies to execute on the company’s initiatives and return Jones to profitable growth,” Colbourne said in a statement.
Jones reported a gross profit of $2.38 million in 2019, a 13% drop from 2018.
