Coca-Cola to Cut 75 Jobs at Corporate Headquarters

Layoffs are the first step in an organization restructuring that is expected to bring more workforce reductions over the coming months, company says.
Jan. 6, 2026

According to local news reports, The Coca-Cola Co. will lay off 75 of its workers at its Atlanta, Ga., corporate headquarters at the end of next month. The reports cite a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the state.

The company said the move was part of a larger workforce reorganization in 2026 — with more reductions expected in waves over the coming months. The company, however, did not confirm the total number of employees to be impacted at this time.

The 2026 plan should come as little surprise to anyone, as the company warned of organizational restructuring in its earnings call in October 2025. In that earnings report, Coca-Cola reported third quarter earnings showing a 6% rise in organic revenue, spurred by an increase in global unit volume — something the company hadn’t achieved in three years.
