Dan Poland Joins Campbell as EVP-Supply Chain

Jan. 6, 2022
His career includes stints at Nestle, Gerber, Heinz, WhiteWave, Pinnacle, Kind.

Campbell Soup Co. hired Daniel Poland as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective Jan. 10. He replaces Bob Furbee, who's retiring after 38 years with the company. Poland leaves Kind Snacks, where he had been Chief Operating Officer since 2019.

Poland has worked for a long list of food companies just before they got acquired. He began his career at Nestle and Gerber, spent 15 years at H.J. Heinz Co., then WhiteWave Foods, then Pinnacle Foods. Kind was acquired by Mars in November 2020. While most of those roles were in supply chain, part of his time at Heinz was spent as a plant manager.

He will report to Campbell’s Pres/CEO Mark Clouse, for whom Poland worked at Pinnacle Foods.
